AWIS outreach was invited to participate at the 4th Annual Family Science night at Albert Einstein Academies Elementary School. What an excellent opportunity to make slime...

To make slime, Elmer's glue is mixed with saturated borax solution, the borax links together the PVA polymers in the glue transforming it into slime. Our volunteers explained about polymerization process while teaching kids and parents to make slime.

Everyone enjoyed making slime so much they just wanted to make more and more... during the two hours event we made a total of six gallons of slime (!)
