Biography
Dr. Cohen earned a PhD in Molecular Cell Biology from the Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel. She joined the Glycobiology Research and Training Center at the University of California San Diego as a postdoctoral fellow and later Assistant Project Scientist where she studied glycobiology and infectious diseases. In 2016, Dr. Cohen transitioned from the academia to the Medical Communication industry, working on promotional education and publications. Dr. Cohen is a creative medical writer and scientist with over 20 years of experience in creating training materials, analyzing complex scientific data, providing strategic insights, and writing, reviewing and editing publications.
Dr. Cohen is passionate about promoting women and girls in science. She volunteers at the Association for Women in Science (AWIS), and leads a STEM-focused Girl Scout troop.
