Science for Preschoolers - Potatoes!

We planted potatoes in the garden back in March, Potatoes grow in well-drained loose soil which also makes it easy to harvest them. Potatoes are ready to harvest when the plants dry up. The plants dried up and died - it is time to harvest!

Kids had fun planting the potatoes, and even more fun harvesting them.

Harvesting is really child’s play: dig them out, and place in a basket. You can sing along as well:

One Potato, Two potatoes, Three potatoes, Four…. Five potatoes, Six potatoes, Seven Potatoes more!

I wonder what should we do with all these fresh potates?
